Over the past few weeks Adobe has announced that Muse will be definitively shut down. This news is sad for all members of the community who have gathered around this software over the years. In the following article we will see with you what this means for Muse users and UrMuse customers.
Muse Announcement overview
- The update of March 26, 2018 is the last update that will be published for Muse. No new features will be added to the software after this update.
- Customer support for Adobe Muse will be discontinued as of March 26, 2020 and websites published on Business Catalyst will no longer be available after March 26, 2021.
- Muse will still work after March 26, 2020, but may not be available in the Creative Cloud software. From the moment Muse is no longer available in the Creative Cloud software, you will have to go directly through the Adobe website to download it.

The future of UrMuse
If you wonder what this announcement means for UrMuse, we want to reassure you. For the moment nothing changes for UrMuse. We will continue to release new Muse templates & widgets, we will continue to release updates for the products already published, we will continue to offer you the same customer support for the products you have purchased. In other words this is business as usual for us.
Nonetheless, we are aware that our Adobe Muse products will sell less, as many Muse users will turn to other solutions. That is why we are currently thinking about the future of UrMuse. Changes will certainly take place on the store during the following months. Be sure that we will keep you informed when we know more.
We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the trust you have given us since the launch of UrMuse in 2016. Creating this store has been a great adventure and we are grateful to all our customers, the Muse team, and all those who have supported us in recent years.
